Mares of Taproot Stud

Strike the Bell (Kaleen) has earned her position as a foundation mare in our elite group of broodmares. She is the only daughter of our first broodmare, Jezebel, that produced so well for us; champion foals left and right. 

Kaleen is a Bronze Merit Approved Irish Draught Sport through the Irish Draught Horse Society of North America. She was recognized by the HSI inspectors as having above average scope, adjustability and willingness through the chute. 

Kaleen enjoys the occasional trailride but her love is in raising her foals. She's a professional mama and is very good at her job. Kaleen is pregnant every year by her 30 day cycle and makes light work of foaling out.  

We are retaining her two fillies for our program: Taproot Rua Diamond and Taproot Raven Strike.
