What makes a perfect broodmare? Here at Taproot Stud, all of those qualities are wrapped up in a tidy package we call "Miss Hottie." Hottie requires we address her as "Ma'am" because she refuses to have her standards lowered.
Rightfully so, Attractive Starfire has a purple pedigree, Her sire, Ahtractiv, was a jet black Tersk Arabian from the line of Salon (bred by Tersk Soviet Stud). He was known to be a very fancy 'hunter' in the U.S. Arabian show circuit and often was shown by children. Her dam, Moonshine was one of the rare lost daughters during the time Garryowen of Suma ran with a small band of Thoroughbred mares in Canada. Moonshine was a well loved family member of a household in upstate New York where they drive her in parades and trekked the mountains.
Gorgeous and kind, Miss Hottie adds class to any stallion she is bred to. She consistently passes her floating movement, excellent feet, 'bedroom eye, ' wide flat forehead, and short cannons. We have seen her strengths passed though to the next generation in Taproot Prime's fillies. But, alas, Ahtractiv Starfire has not given us a filly.
Between foals, we enjoy hacking Miss Hottie around the farm, giving guests pony rides and admiring her beauty in our pastures.
